Orange Revolution ends with Yushchenko declared as President and the ap­point­ment of Yulia Tymoshenko as Prime Minister. Victor Yanukovych lost the elec­tion and leads the opposition. As part of the Orange Revolution, the Ukrainian constitution was changed to shift powers from a Presidential to the Parliamentary system. Aborted at­tempt at demo­cratic re­form.
