The Constitutional Court of Ukraine overturns the 2004 amendments changing back from a Parliamentary to Presidential system. The changes made in 2005 are deemed unconstitutional. Yanukovych, as the President, is able to make ap­point­ments in Parliament, Defense, Constitutional Courts and other departments as he pleases.
